February 10, 2019

Dear Carrillo Families,

This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing a fabulous performance of “Alice in Wonderland” by our students in the Starz2B Program. Congratulations to the all-star cast and parent volunteers who contributed to the presentation. I loved it!
Starz2B is part of our enrichment program at Carrillo and is available to all 4th and 5th-graders who audition for a part. We are very fortunate to have the talented Danielle Broyles as the Director and Producer of the show. In addition to Carrillo, she also produces plays at San Elijo Middle School and San Elijo Elementary. Mrs. Broyles worked with our Carrillo students for several months in preparation for “Alice in Wonderland” and it was a hit! She is always looking for more talented Colts so if you will have a 4th or 5th-grader next year, please think about having them audition. I’m so excited to see what they will perform next year!
