Dear Carrillo Families,
We are officially at the halfway point of the school year and excited to start the second semester. Students are making significant progress academically, and we will continue to have fun on-campus activities. Semester one report cards will be available on ParentVUE next Friday, February 11.
Thank you to all families who attended the Laser Tag event last week. Special thanks to PTO member Natalia Sada for coordinating the event! Our next big event is the Sweetheart’s Dance. You can sign up for early bird prices (info below).
Jan 31st - Jogathon kickoff meeting
Our primary school fundraiser is coming up this Spring! After the great success of the Readathon last year, this year, we are planning a Jogathon, likely using the same PledgeStar system. We have our initial planning meeting tomorrow, Monday, Jan 31 · 1–2 PM.

Sweetheart's Dance
Feb. 12th, 5 pm - 7 pm. Kids, bring your grown-ups for a fun night of food, crafts, and dancing! Get your tickets now at carrillopto.org. Early bird price is $25 per couple until February 1st. This event will take place outside, so please dress warmly and wear your favorite hat!

Asian New Year Performance
On Friday, February 4th, at 8:45 am, we will celebrate Asian New Year with a Good Luck Dragon Dance! Our 5th-grade students have learned the gong & drumming pattern for the traditional Dragon Dance. All 5th-grade families are welcome to join us on Friday morning to see the performance. 5th-grade families- Please complete this RSVP form if you plan to attend.
