Dear Carrillo Families,

Last night, our PTO really outdid themselves on the Spring Fling Auction fundraiser. It was an incredible event and I really appreciate everyone who was in attendance and for their help raising money for our school. We had a high presence of staff members and parents which made it a wonderful opportunity to build community and connect the adults that make up our school. Special thanks to Kathy Casciani, Candice and Joey Lai, Drea Colores, Kelly Hill, The Yates Family, everyone who donated to auction items and all of the other volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible. Also, thank you to the talented Mr. Retzer for the great music!!

June 11th is 5th Grade Promotion, and Party Planning is Underway!

School Site Council Opening Next Year
Next year, we will have two vacancies on our School Site Council which is an elected group of parents and staff who serve as an advisory group to the principal. The meetings are held once per month at times/dates selected by the committee (usually in the evening). The primary function of this group is to provide information and advice on the Single Plan for Student Achievement, the School Safety Plan, as well as review budgetary information. This committee does not deal with fundraising or other areas covered by the PTO.

If you are interested in serving a two-year term on the Carrillo School Site Council, please complete this form.

We need all responses by Monday, May 20th.
