
School Supplies for Mrs. Dorsey’s Fourth Grade Class~
2019-2020
Dear Fourth Grade Students & Parents,
I am looking forward to a great year together and hope you are too! I know that you’ll want to be well-prepared, so I’ve created a list of supplies that will get you off to a great start. I will gladly accept donations of extra school supplies. I will be happy to assist you if you are unable to supply any of the requested items for any reason-- please speak with me as soon as possible.
- 2 packs loose leaf, lined notebook paper. One pack at home and one to school
- Steady supply of pencils-- (Ticonderoga are preferred).
- Hand held sharpener with shavings container--not electric
- Glue sticks—Several at home, a couple at school.
- Pencil zipper-pouch for your binder/backpack and to use at school
- Clear View, 1 ½ or 2 inch, three-ring binder.
- 2 one-inch, 3-ring binders (one for Math, one for Lang. Arts)
- 2 single subject notebooks with lined paper (spiral or bound—you choose)
- 4 two-pocket folders. Two of these must be the hole-punched kind, as they will go into your binder. The other two can coordinate with your single subject notebooks above (they are for Science and Social Studies)
- 2 Expo markers for working on personal whiteboards1 pack of graph paper
- Fine-tipped Crayola markers (I will provide the wide-tipped kind)
Optional Items:
Mini-stapler & staples, a ruler, scissors, personal water bottle, gel pens, felt tip pens/markers, small pencil box for your desk (no locks), personal whiteboard. I’ll provide yellow highlighters but you may bring other colors, black Sharpies.
Shared Classroom Supplies: If you are able to donate any items from the list below, I’d appreciate it tremendously!!
