Welcome to my classroom page! I am so excited to be your child's Preschool teacher this year! Here is a little about me... I am born and raised in San Diego and I grew up in Poway. I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with my BA in Liberal Studies and went on to earn a multiple subject and special education credential. Once I became more familiar with behavioral sciences while working at a special needs non-public school  (TERI inc in Oceanside) I took classes and passed the BCBA exam to earn my BCBA credential in 2019.

Although I am credentialed to teach in the general education setting my heart has always been in Special Education. I have been teaching with the Special Education community for 14 years. But what is my favorite age to teach you ask? Preschool 100% all day everyday!  My joy comes from being with the "littles" watching them grow, learn, fall, get back up, and of course PLAY.

On my non-teaching days I enjoy spending time with my husband Tyler (married on 2.22.22!) and our fur baby Kuuna. Running, hiking, soccer (HALA MADRID), SUP, yoga, traveling and the being anywhere near the ocean are a few of my favorite activities. Starbucks and ice cream are my weaknesses.
