Preschool at Carrillo

The preschool program at Carrillo is run by the SMUSD Special Education department. The special education, preschool department offers a unique learning experience for all preschoolers.  Our programs serve children with varying exceptionalities, including Autism, communication disorders, intellectual disorders, and related disabilities. Additionally, and in order to promote inclusive preschool settings, we offer preschool experiences to children who live within our District boundaries, and are developing within expected ranges, to act as community friends or peer models, in many of our preschool classes.  Trials for these slots are held twice per year (Fall and Spring).  For more information, please click here or contact Amanda Carlson, Preschool Program Specialist at:  760-290-2953 or amanda.carlson@smusd.org
