Let's Face It. Together. A Mental Health Program.

Let's Face It. Together. is a mental health awareness campaign supported by the San Marcos Unified School District and the City of San Marcos. The campaign aims to help youth and teens get support from the District to address mental health challenges.

Wellness Teams have been assembled throughout the District, and are prepared to help students seek additional emotional or mental health support.

I can handle the pressure, but I just want to give up.

Students and families can now get support by:

  •  Texting “SMUSD” to “741741” to get free, immediate and confidential help.
  •  Visiting any counseling staff member or speaking to a trusted faculty member who can guide them through the process.
  •  Calling 988 immediately if there is a mental health emergency.

This program will act as a bridge for students, families, and staff by connecting students in need with appropriate services to improve their mental health and quality of life.

When we return from Winter Break to our schools, you will see the new program materials up throughout each campus to help share these new resources and bring attention to the support available.

Let’s help our students make mental health a priority, together. Learn more about the program at smusd.com/mentalhealth.
